Hi, Vogue.

Come get ready with me for Vogue World.

I forgot to say I m Maude Apatow.

Hi, Vogue.

I m Maude Apatow.

Come get ready with me for Vogue World.

[upbeat music]

So we have this two-piece outfit from Bode,

which I think is really beautiful.

Some beading.

Here s the top and the gloves, and we have this veil,

which I think is gonna be really fun for tonight.

Just a little veil moment.

[gentle music]

Can t start my day without my coffee. [giggles]

Every night in Cabaret,

I, like, smudge my lipstick with my hand.

I ve showered twice since the show last night

and I still have it on my hand.

I ve been in London now for-

[Jackie] Is it three months?

... since the very beginning of May.

I was doing Little Shop of Horrors in New York

and I finished Sunday night,

and I went to the Met on Monday,

and then I left Tuesday morning

to come to London to start rehearsals Wednesday.

So it s pretty quick turnaround.

[upbeat rousing music]

I ve spent a lot of time in London over the years,

so it was an easy transition.

For my 18th birthday,

I came here with my four best friends

and we literally say we peaked.

That was our peak because it was the most fun trip

I ve ever had in my whole life.

We just had the best time.

We went to like the club for the first time

and we were just living.

So for tonight with her veil, it s a little,

where it sits is a little 1950-ish

so we re going to go with that with a little nod,

keeping it nice imparted in the middle,

but have a bit more of a feeling to it

so that it s a bit more modern

and she doesn t look too much like a 1950 stewardess.

Not that I wouldn t like to look like one.

Not that we don t wanna go that way.

[Maude chuckles]

Yeah, I guess we re putting in some extensions

because I ve had a bob for a long time, and I m over it.

I try and add some some length today.

I wear a wig in Cabaret

even though it s very similar to my hair,

and Jackie does hair and makeup on Cabaret,

and that s how we met.

I think my ritual before the show is probably

doing my makeup and I-

[Jackie] She has a look.

I definitely start the show with a strong look,

and it takes some time.

I like to, like, really take a long time to do my makeup

even if the look is never worth that much time, [chuckles]

but it s more of just a nice, calm moment to myself.

[exciting music]

I love the eyeshadow.

[Jackie] Yeah? It s cute, right?

I feel like when it s gonna,

we ll give different dimensions when you blink

and when it s on the carpet, which is great.

Yeah, I think if we add a little liner.

Yeah, sure, just a little bit of definition.

Yeah.

In L.A., I live with my best friend, Joanne,

and we like to get ready together and put on music

and like-

[Jackie] Have a good time.

In college, we shared, my same best friend,

Joanne and I lived together in college

and we had a bathroom that we shared

and we get ready at the same time

and like dance and listen to music.

I hear the looks are gonna be really theatrical.

Harry Lambert, who s styling

or overseeing all of the styling for the event, is so...

I m such a big fan of his work,

and so I was really excited to meet him

and I think the looks are probably gonna be insane.

[gentle music]

It s really good.

Ooh, it s a marriage of colors.

I m into it.

[gentle music]

I m gonna get dressed. [giggles]

It s like I m getting married.

[Jillian] It s exactly like you re getting married.

[Jackie] We re the mothers of the bride. [chuckles]

[Jillian] I m so proud of you.

Do you want me to stand in front of the mirror?

Yes, I do.

The final look.

[upbeat music]

I am ready to go.

Let s go.

Oh, my gloves are off.

Ready to go.

Don t wanna get anything on my gloves.

Okay, I m ready.

Ready to go. [giggles]

[upbeat music]

Bye, guys.

[upbeat music continues]
