Balmain Spring 2016 Ready-to-Wear

[Olivier] This year I wanted to push myself

in different fabrics

different shape.

You would never expect beige at Balmain.

You would never expect chocolate brown and colors.

Also, a lot of more fluidity.

Mostly in different fabrics.

There is a fragility in the clothes.

But at the same time there is such

a strength with the woman that you don t

feel the fabric is maybe

so light and fragile.

My look specifically was all handmade individual pieces.

So it s very delicate.

But it was beautiful.

And I m so excited that I got to wear it.

You always feel sexy in it.

It s kind of something that

from every angle it looks good.

[Jada] Anytime that I ve put something on

it fit.

[Kris] I think Olivier is such a genius designer because

he makes clothes that flatter

almost any body type

and make every woman feel so beautiful.

[Olivier] It s really couture.

It s really luxury.

And there is a sense of unique.

It s really maximal in a way.

And I m proud to be one of the designer

that playing with maximal.

Because what I love about fashion today

is that everybody has his own place

to express what we want.
