Jeremy Scott Fall 2016 Ready-to-Wear

The collection is called Cowboys and Poodles,

and it s a reference to cowboys and cowgirls

and how they get gussied up.

It s a little bit of outer space.

It s a little bit of space cowboy

or Dali on Molly, if you will.

And Ren and Stimpy, who I brought along for the ride.

When I was talking to the people at Cartoon Network,

they said they would draw me anything,

so I had them to draw some honky tonk versions

of them doing Elvis s classic pose and him with a guitar.

So we have those on cowboy boots as well as

on the back of the cowboy jacket.

This is my first Jeremy Scott show I ve ever walked,

so it s very exciting,

and I get to open and close,

so it s a huge honor.

His collection, he s so creative,

and he s always thinking of having fun with it.

These shoes? I wish I would had these shoes my whole life.

I feel like this is, like, my alter ego.

It s fun.

That s what I m here for.

I think that s kind of my role in fashion

is to do something whimsical, something surreal,

something playful, something fun.

I m just fulfilling my destiny, if you will.
