We really love this film called Spirit of the Beehive.

It s about two sisters and of which

their father has the beehive on their property.

And I think that kinda seeped into our minds

and we grew sunflowers over the summer

and of course that brings many, many bees

and I think we were just kinda surrounded by this idea.

Often, what we do, there s a lot of

kind of a femoral layers.

So if you really started looking up at the dresses,

they would have a layer of honeycomb,

then like different dots which for us was kinda like

trying to recreate like bees.

And then we made fabric that was very pollen-inspired

and that was a huge inspiration in terms of the fabrication

that pretty much went throughout the show.

Leather dresses, all day.

Also, the first three that came out

with the shoulder pad-y ruffles

and then the skirts,

I could rock that.

For us overall, it s about

the idea of walking away with an emotion.

It s not always so much that someone has to

understand every single inspiration.

You know, just experience it

and you get gone in someone else s world.
