We re looking at pictures of Veruschka,
with all the beautiful lashes
and out on those wonderful locations,
and that s kind of the look,
more of a modern version of that.
Very seductive,
a bend, a wave,
very soft, touchable,
it s much more the attitude of a woman,
than just in her style.
Frida Giannini is working with Rihanna
on something for unisex,
and there Rihanna was in the front row
of the latest Gucci show.
I can t help thinking the title of her album,
Good Girl Gone Bad, is rather an appropriate description
of the kind of girl that Frida s targeting with her clothes.
[Interviewer] That collection is a great interplay
between masculine and feminine elements.
So sometimes I like to wear very short dresses
and I like to be very feminine,
and sometimes else I want to be very tough, in a way.
I think that a woman wants to invest
in these beautiful, sharp, tailored suits.
That speaks to what I call that stealth wealth.
Details and craftsmanship is stolen from a men s wardrobe,
but rich, oxidative, strong, strong colors,
like the shades of blue, marine,
new and fresh way to interpret the classic suit.
[Interviewer] When you see that collection,
you really are looking at the bags and the shoes,
and then looking up at the clothes after that.
I like because it s alive, it s colorful,
but the protagonist of the show are the accessories.
Beautiful handbags, the shoes,
of course we re all into a shoe moment right now,
where all the buyers and editors
are looking at the shoes and questioning
how high can you go?
I actually need to do some history,
and find out who the hell invented the high heel,
cause it sure as hell makes the legs look better,
but it s just such a strange concept
to walk on these little stilts.
If there was one thing I d buy,
it s those wonderful jodhpurs, with the zips,
low rise on the hips.
She wants her casual wear to be really cool and sexy.
The evening wear I thought was stunning,
and today I think
they re really taking Halston, to be honest.
It s really launching Halston quite seriously.
Because I think Gucci did it stunningly.
[Interviewer] That collection seemed to be very you.
I think this collection maybe was closer
to my first ever collection in Gucci,
with the use of the prints, of the colors,
so maybe very unconscious, I would say.
[Interviewer] That whole last passage
with the evening dresses, I could see you in everything.
Really? [laughs]
I think so, maybe, no I don t know.
I didn t try it yet.
I will in the next coming days.
