[Tim] What did it all remind you of?

A good time.

[intense music]

Jack and Lazaro are taking the girl

on a trip this season.

She ends up somewhere really interesting.

[intense music]

[Tim] If this was a journey who is the girl,

and where was she going?

We were just looking at like

street, youthful culture.

A bit of a west coast influence in the work.

There are very much, like,

seaside, oceanic references in a way I guess.

But at the end of the day,

the girl is totally urban.

There was a really casual part of that show.

In the cottons, in the shirtings.

The idea of tying a shirt around your waist.

And it sort of transitioned into these

glamorous party dresses

that look like each one was one of a kind.

[Tim] From a black oversized blazer

to exotic aquatic,

that was quite a journey.

We like when a show opens up and evolves

and becomes something different from beginning to end.

We like the fact that you don t expect what s coming

when you see the first couple of looks.

You think it s another dark thing, and then,

all of a sudden, it makes you realize

the joy of color almost.

[intense music]

That kind of mermaid-esque

surfer vibe,

those prints,

It s actually exactly what I would want to wear

during the summer.

[Tim] It makes you wish you were walking it right?

Yeah.

It s one of those shows that I said

Ah, that s beautiful to walk, you know?

[Tim] The dresses were like jewels.

Yes, they were like jewels.

Like tropical fish.

It felt very exuberant, I guess,

and it felt young and also very,

a lot of sports mixed with that luxury.

I thought it was a really interesting kind of combo.

They re American boys that live in New York,

and they study

and travel.

They re explorers.

They ve proven that they have a really great

solid design foundation.
