The winds are there for free and the sun,

so why don t we use it?

There s a wind farm on the Chanel catwalk this season.

It s like Karl Lagerfeld is making a statement

about sustainable energy.

The collection was huge

and it s only one of the things he did this season.

Obviously his energy is infinitely sustainable.

I thought this was very much a display of power

of who is the king of Paris and the fashion season.

Karl took the Grand Palais

and used it to its full capacity

and I think we saw more than 100 looks

and it was not boring for one second.

I think really good collection for Chanel,

very strong silhouettes, very simple,

staging s very powerful, I mean, definitely.

For me the most beautiful and exciting was the color,

I loved the blues and the reds

and also the kind of almost sweatshirt-y proportions

of the sweaters and the cropped jackets,

they were my highlights.

No braids, no classic Chanel buttons, no chains,

just pearls, pearls and pearls and that is all.

It s all about volume and lightness

because normally volume and lightness don t go together.

Everything is airy.

The collection is just so pretty.

He does floral, he does the embroidery,

he does this femininity, in a way that only Karl does it

and, like, the girls look so fresh and just beautiful.

The scale of this was just so huge.

It seems like it s the biggest thing that you ve done.

You know I don t judge my things in terms of size

Energy s the most important thing in life.

The rest comes later.
