Givenchy: Spring 2013 Ready-to-Wear

The Givenchy show brings the whole world to

Riccardo Tisci s doorstep.

I think it s because it s one show during

Paris Fashion Week and generates real excitement.

It makes me feel emotional

that it s so beautiful what he does.

It makes me want to cry,

I don t know how else to explain it.

I love the less gothicness of it this season,

it felt more feminine.

I loved soft pallet but still with

the austerity of the tailoring.

It was really good, I loved it.

Everything is flowy, all the details, everything is like

you can wear in any season. It s not like

it s season for (crowd noise drowns out other sounds).

So I think it s a great evolution since his first

collections and now he s just getting the essence of

his design out there and it s been simplified to such

an extreme it s quite stunning.

He has a signature on his clothes that I think any

woman and every woman dreams of wearing and rocking and

feeling unbelievably cool and sexy when

you wear his clothes but in a very kind of subtle way not

in an overt way, I want to be that girl.

Let me tell you, that was amazing.

[Interviewer] What do you think he

understands about women?

That there s a lot of layers to us you know, hard and

soft, sweet and kind, passionate.

He s an F-ing poet.
